Educator Thecia Jenkins has been using the power of relationship to deliver transformational training to law enforcement, healthcare providers, educators, victim service providers and corporate teams for twenty-five years. Her areas of expertise are intimate partner violence, emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication. Thecia has certifications in DiSC, Emotional Intelligence, Diversity and Mediation. She is the President of I Am BOLD, LLC and has trained and provided consultation on intimate partner violence and emotional intelligence in West Africa (Ghana), Trinidad & Tobago, and London.

Thecia is also with the Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council as the Training Director where she develops and delivers programs for first responders to survivors of domestic violence and also provides technical assistance to public sector professionals and human resource managers.

She is passionate about equipping organizations to maximize the value of their teams and equipping women to empower themselves so that they can live BOLD and determine what success means to them.
