One very important part of Henné is its partnership with the local charity First Fruit Ministries, which provides holistic solutions for victims of human trafficking and homelessness. Henné will be donating $1 from every purchase to First Fruit.Laura has imbibed values from many cultures. Immigrating from China at age two, she feels her family instilled a sense of integrity and forbearance in her while adapting to the U.S. culture.After falling in love with her to-be husband Axel and relocating to Sweden, she was inspired by the natural and holistic elements in Swedish culture as well as the modern minimalist Scandinavian design style.Although Laura studied Journalism and worked in the tech space for many years, she always had an entrepreneurial spirit. So, in 2015 Laura and Axel self-funded the launch of Henné Organics: Swedish inspired, American made.

Laura is also a great athlete. Growing up playing different sports, she succeeded in becoming a multiple-time US youth champion table tennis player. Her competitive spirit can still be seen in her love for MMA.Now a mother, she is learning and growing in her understanding of work-life balance, especially with running a business with her husband. A very dynamic and wholesome first-generation entrepreneur, Laura is simply an inspiration.
