Haiti and Leadership

Fritznel D. Octave is an accomplished journalist, thought leader, and esteemed author hailing from the rich culture and vibrant heart of Haiti. Born and raised in the northwestern peninsula region of Mole Saint-Nicolas, Fritznel has dedicated over 25 years of his career to report on issues and policies that affect ordinary Haitians in their daily struggles. He strives to shine a light on the often overlooked and untold stories of the Haitian people.  

Fritznel has taken his inspirational journey from community radio broadcasting programs, national newspapers, to some prestigious international news organizations. Despite moving to the United States in the mid-2000s, his commitment to Haiti remains unbroken. He is constantly and passionately speaking, reporting, and writing on the country’s profound history, multiple issues, and narratives. Each piece Fritznel produces is a testament to his keen insight, meticulous research, and profound grasp of the human spirit. Beyond journalism, he involves in business with a bottom-up entrepreneurship mindset. He also elevates others with his compelling speaking engagements, transformative and servant leadership, results-driven coaching, and impactful training.  

He graduated with a bachelor of science in communication at the State University of Haiti and completed his professional studies in journalism at both the University of the west Indies, Kingston, Jamaica and the University of Oxford, Oxford, United Kingdom. He also received his master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida. Fritznel’s journey is a beacon of inspiration, illuminating the importance of staying true to one’s roots and uplifting untold stories.

Meet people where they are-Lisa Allgood

Lisa Allgood is an author, speaker, and the host of the "Jesus & Me & ADHD" podcast. Lisa is a qualified ADHD coach who provides a safe, compassionate place for self-discovery. Lisa has two teens with ADHD, and she was diagnosed in 2021. While navigating her own diagnosis, Lisa was also supporting her youngest daughter through ADHD-driven anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

 

Through all of this, Lisa has seen the miraculous ways God works and He has shown her who she is in Him. For Lisa, understanding her ADHD and ultimately who she is in Christ has led to freedom from the shame, guilt, and hopelessness she had struggled with her entire life. This freedom has allowed her to truly live in God’s purpose and plan for her life. Lisa shares her perspective, including her struggles and the revelations that have led to this monumental shift in her own life, so that everyone may experience the same hope, acceptance, and joy.
